Sharie Sommerville: More money can be helpful, but I think change is needed because at some point the money gets wasted without actual change. The education system used today is like the system they used 50 years ago. It's time for a new better system.

Yet our kids score 23 in the world on standard education tests. However, there is a well accepted correlation between the politicization of education and collapsing test scores. The salaries of instructors and lawyers should be reversed, but that will never happen.Instead, all parents should be able to utilize an educational voucher to send their child/children to any school where the child is accepted. Remember that Obama spoke out against vouchers in Washington DC, and voted against same as a Senator.
