If the paint is in good condition - a good paint tech should be able to match the color. The insurance company only owes to paint the damaged panels and blend where appropriate. Ruby Martis: Just to add to the correct info that MSAD gave you, somebody will probably come along and suggest getting a lawyer and suing for a full paint job. I have handled claims where people sued over this situation and they always lose. One case in small claims court was real fast. The judge asked if the entire car was damaged in the accident and the car owner answered no and the judge said "case dismissed."You really don't have a legal leg to stand on, sorry....Show more
