Jeremy Donohue: There are lots of Recruiters... Post your Resume on Monster or CareerBuilder.. they will find you.
Eldridge Rieves: In the US, the market for hardware engineers is not very good. You could look at smaller companies in your area - only way to find those is through informal networks. The big companies like Dell, Apple, IBM, HP, etc. may be doing some limited hiring in remote areas, but it's unlikely to be in a design job, unless you have exactly what they need. Most likely it would be in a service or maintenance capacity.
