There are a lot of products who offer registry backup, restore, cleaning and defrag but you won't find a free registry cleaner to offer a complete solution.I personally use Uniblue's RegistryBooster 2. Uniblue are Microsoft Gold Certified Partners too.
Kip Ockenfels: u can back up ur registry by openning your run prompt and type regeditthen file export, then it is backed up
Betsey Copp: You can back up your regis! try by clicking file choosing export and selecting all rather than the current key,, Usually the free registry cleaners give u the option to backup the reg first because they make a lot of strong decisions and if not governed they can screw ur registry up. free registry cleaner i believe is adware,, the cc cleaner i think i've seen bundled in a google pak,, if u just want a registry back up ur better off using the tools given by microsoft,, basically save the registry like any other file.. preferably off the suspect hard drive...=)...Show more
