Ronny Dorge: Rationing is when you limit the amount of something that people can consume. "Rationing health care" would mean that you wouldn't be able to get health care whenever you want it, but only on a schedule determined by how much was being made available at that time. Usually, this is what people worry about should everyone get equal access to health care. The fear is that the demand for health care will exceed the supply, so someone will have to step in and decide who gets health care and when, making it more likely that you would have to wait for medical care longer than in a non-rationed (free market)system.In most cases, I'd say this fear is overblown.
