p>Rutabagas sont de gros légumes violets dont la texture et le goût ressemblent à ceux du navet. Ces légumes-racines ronds peuvent être rôtis, bouillis ou écrasés. Il suffit de laver et de trancher votre rutabaga. Retirez ensuite la peau et coupez-la en cubes. En quelques minutes, votre rutabaga peut être prêt à cuire.

Laver le rutabaga. Comme pour n’importe quel légume, il faut bien laver le rutabaga à l’eau avant de commencer à le hacher. Assurez-vous d’enlever la saleté (car les rutabagas sont des légumes-racines).

Retirer la peau extérieure à l’aide d’un couteau à éplucher. Prenez une tranche de rutabaga et tenez-la dans votre main non dominante. Ensuite, sortez un couteau d’office et tenez-le dans votre main dominante. Placez le tranchant de votre couteau contre le rutabaga, face à vous, et appl! iquez une pression sur le rutabaga avec votre pouce. Glissez le couteau le long de la tranche de rutabaga vers vous, en enlevant la peau. Jeter la peau et répéter l’opération avec les tranches restantes.
